Frequency  you take on the role of a paranormal investigator who is drawn to the deserted Voss home in an attempt to learn the truth about the mother's unexplained death, the child's disappearance, and the odd signals that the house continues to give off. You follow cryptic clues and locked doors as you explore the house. After going through drawers, you discover. a key to the bedroom, where an old tape and another key indicate that the mother's death might not have been an accident. Entering the kitchen, you find an odd statue and an apple that looks normal, but as soon as you bite into it, the TV turns on by itself, flickering with broken broadcasts and static. A secret door to a forgotten basement laboratory is revealed when the statue is positioned correctly, causing the bookshelf to move. A terrifying final audio recording of the family's last experiment an attempt to get in touch with their deceased loved one that invited something much worse—can be found there. Lights flicker, screams resound, and the truth is revealed as the tape plays: the family didn't simply reach into the afterlife; they brought something back.
